Club Card vs Tago: what each one includes and who it suits
In short: Tago is a Mexican loyalty card platform from Morelia, with a Loyalty plan at $350 MXN a month or $3,500 MXN a year and cards in Apple and Google Wallet. Club Card costs USD 39 a month, includes setup by the team and a customer CRM, and saves the card to Google Wallet; on iPhone it works in the browser. Tago adds Apple Wallet, issues CFDI invoices and has a plan with coupons, referrals and surveys. Club Card suits owners who want it handed to them working, and owners in Argentina.
Club Card's card, counter app, dashboard and signup are in Spanish only.
This comparison is written by Club Card. Tago's data comes from its official loyalty cards page, checked on October 23, 2026. Another page on the same site shows an older figure of $300 a month and $2,999 a year; here we use the loyalty cards page.
What each one is
Tago is a Mexican service for creating digital loyalty cards that customers save to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The business sets it up itself, pays a subscription in pesos and pays no setup fee. Its page shows no free trial, but it offers a demo card to try on your phone.
Club Card is a digital stamp card branded with the business's name, for coffee shops, bakeries and counter businesses in Mexico and Argentina. The Club Card team sets it up, and it comes with a CRM and an owner dashboard.

Price over a year
With published prices, Tago's annual Loyalty plan is $3,500 MXN. Club Card is USD 468 a year, or USD 348 the first year at the founder price. Club Card charges in dollars, so the amount in pesos depends on the exchange rate. Club Card has no lock-in: you can cancel anytime.
With several branches, the math changes. At Tago each extra branch adds $200 MXN a month. At Club Card each branch gets its own QR inside the same club.
The real difference is who does the work. With Tago you design the card, set the rules and explain the program to your staff. With Club Card we do that, and you also get the CRM. We estimate those pieces cost about USD 199 a month separately; this is our own estimate. For the full cost of a program, read how much a loyalty card costs.
Apple Wallet and invoicing: where Tago wins
Tago saves the card to Apple Wallet and Club Card does not. With Club Card, iPhone customers use their card in the browser, with their code, and the stamp is added the same way.
To decide, look at your customers. StatCounter measures 28% iOS phones in Mexico and 13% in Argentina for September 2026. If most of your customers use iPhone, Tago has the edge.
The other advantage is tax. Tago issues CFDI invoices, which a Mexican business deducting expenses will value. And its All Inclusive plan bundles coupons, referrals and surveys in one fee.
What happens with the data
Tago exports the customer base to Excel or CSV. That helps if you already work with another tool.
At Club Card each member is recorded with their data in a CRM, and the dashboard shows who returns within 30 days and who has been away for 60. You can export the list. Promotions only reach people who agreed to receive them. The customer retention guide explains why this matters.
Day to day at the counter
In both cases the customer shows a code and the staff scans it. At Club Card the scanner installs as an app on the shop's phone, adds the stamp and hands out the reward from the same screen. The system allows one stamp per member per day across all locations, so a large order cannot fill the card at once. Each stamp is logged with date, branch and employee.
A real example: Giorgini Panetteria, a bakery in Tucumán with two branches, Centro and Yerba Buena, has had its club since September 2, 2026. It gives one stamp per visit and a treat at 8 stamps.
Google Maps reviews
Club Card gives 5 stamps for a Google Maps review and 2 for TripAdvisor, once each. Tago does not mention it on its pricing page. If you want more reviews, this point matters.
